Supporting the drive to Net Zero

Reusing buildings (adaptive reuse) is generally more sustainable, cost-effective, and time-efficient than new builds, particularly for achieving net-zero goals, because it avoids the significant embodied carbon in new materials and the costs of demolition.

Proposed buildings for reuse are often decades old. Thus, a key issue for developers, engineers and contractors, is the lack of information available for the building/structure targeted for repurposing. This can lead to, cost, risk and programme issues.

We have put together a package of investigative solutions, that help reduce risk and provide critical information when working with existing buildings/structures.
